iCON International Container Service GmbH was founded in 1999 Achim Bunke and his partner Zheng Gong in Hamburg as a company for trading of multimodal containers. Since the company was founded, demand and possibilities of using containers have developed dynamically and in fascinating ways. A container is what you make of it - for example

In the late 1970s, the transport industry was revolutionized by the introduction of standardized containers. When iCON was founded around 30 years later, this process was ongoing and continues to offer new innovations all the time. To this day, there are constantly new variants and possible uses for the convertible boxes. They always have one thing in common: fast realization combined with high flexibility thanks to transportability and worldwide availability.
